Bulgarian violinist Sophia Prodanova is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama - London,
where she studied violin and baroque violin with David Takeno, Pavlo Beznosiuk
and improvisation with David Dolan. She is increasingly in demand as a period performance player
in UK and Europe's leading ensembles and orchestras - Arcangelo. Pygmalion, Il Pomo d'Oro,
Ensemble Masques, Benedetti Baroque Orchestra, Dunedin Consort. Irish Baroque Orchestra, among others.
Sophia is the 3rd Prize winner of the International Bach Competition in Leipzig (2022) and is now a
Jumpstart Jr Foundation artist - having received a 1596 Brothers Amati violin,
from their Sparrey Collection for a period of 3 years.
